I <3 Dogs Week 3: Favorite Animal related book, movie, song, etc.

When I think about dogs the movies Turner & Hooch, Homeward Bound, and Old Yeller come to mind. My kids are more enraptured by the Buddy movies, the offspring of the loveable Golden Retriever that was featured in about 3-4 Disney films in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. There’s books like Shiloh, and The Red Fern Grows. This week that’s what we’re talking about. Our favorite animal or dog related movies, books, songs, and any other type of media that relates to animals that touch your heart. And I don’t mean that YouTube video about the Honey Badger. 🙂 So share your favorites and you can click on the links to visit our participating blogs and see what some of their favorites are.

  1. Ironically I don’t really like dog related books unless they are non-fiction and filled with breed, behavior and training information. I still have a stack of those sitting at home I haven’t gone through yet.

As for movies, K9 and Turner and Hooch are 2 of my favorites. I’m not really a fan of the cute kid’s movies, although I LOVE the movie Cats and Dogs.
